1. Security and Intelligence Studies (SIS) (hereinafter referred to as “SIS”) is an academic journal focusing on traditional security, non-traditional security, intelligence, and homeland security. It aims to publish papers that offer innovative and constructive theoretical and comprehensive analysis. Submissions on relevant topics are welcome.
2. Please do not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously, and please sign a “Declaration of Unpublished Content.” Submissions must adhere to the journal’s writing guidelines. Submissions that do not comply will be returned for revision before further processing.
3. SIS uses double-blind peer review mechanism. Please do not include any information in your submission that could identify the author.
4. SIS is an academic journal published in Taiwan. Please use commonly used academic terminology in Taiwan. SIS primarily publishes manuscripts in Chinese, but English manuscripts are also accepted.
5. Submissions must undergo a formal peer review process. The editorial board will conduct an initial review to confirm the relevance of the topic to the journal’s objectives; subsequently, the manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process. However, the editorial board retains the right to provide textual suggestions and revisions to submitted manuscripts.
6. Upon publication, each author will receive three complimentary copies of the issue.
7. All listed authors of submitted works must sign the “Contributor’s Declaration and Copyright Assignment Agreement,” indicating their agreement to publication in SIS and the transfer of copyright to the Department of Public Safety, Central Police University. Reproduction without the journal’s consent is prohibited. However, authors retain the right to use their work for future compilation, publication, teaching, and other personal (non-profit) purposes.
8. SIS adopts an on-demand review process with no deadline. Please send manuscripts via email to ps@mail.cpu.edu.tw. The editorial board will respond within one week of receipt.
